Live music, artisans and market vendors join the variety of seafood and landlubber fare offered at the three-day event, attendance to which is free.

The great tastes of the sea return to downtown Powder Springs this spring along with live music and arts & crafts for sale from talented artisans during the Powder Springs Seafood Festival set for May 16-18.
This will be the fifth straight year the city has offered a seafood festival to residents and visitors, with the inaugural offering in 2021 welcoming over 10,000 attendees and its successful return in 2022 earning the “Spot On Event of the Year” Award from Cobb Travel & Tourism.
Headlining entertainers for the festival include two musical acts that excited audiences during the city’s Summer Concert Series in recent years. Kasper and the 911 Band comes to the Thurman Springs Park stage Friday night to again provide dance and party music after keeping the crowd fired up this past August.
Making a long-awaited return to the city will be Departure: The Journey Tribute Band, which will perform Saturday night after rocking Powder Springs concertgoers back during the 2021 concert series.
Other musical acts and entertainment will be scheduled throughout the festival including Les Still’s Still Swinging, The 96K Band, Imagine Brass Band and NOD Percussion.
Vendors and festivities will be centered around Thurman Springs Park at 4485 Pineview Drive in the heart of Powder Springs’ downtown and will expand to include an additional stage welcoming local talent and groups on Broad Street. There will be paid and free parking in lots around the downtown area as well as shuttle service available. The free festival will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
While the emphasis is enjoying fresh seafood, other cuisines will be available as well. The list of seafood and landlubbers food vendors will offer a variety of cuisine to satisfy diverse palates, from vendors such as Pinch and Pull, California Fish Market, ATL Seafood, Vieux Carre Bistro and many more!
No coolers are allowed.
