A new oral surgery practice is bringing specialized surgical care to the Kennesaw community. Precision Oral Surgery Kennesaw, led by oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Jessica Koh, officially opened its doors on September 15.
Dr. Koh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has spent her career providing surgical care with a focus on making patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their experience.
“I’m so excited to be here in Kennesaw and to become part of this community,” said Dr. Koh. “Opening this practice is about more than providing oral surgery. I want patients to feel welcomed, listened to and confident in the care they receive.”
A second-generation oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Koh grew up watching her father care for patients and was inspired to follow in his footsteps. She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University before attending UCLA School of Dentistry. She completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, a Level I Trauma Center.
Before opening Precision Oral Surgery Kennesaw, Dr. Koh practiced alongside her father for several years and served as President of the Kern County Dental Society.
While her surgical training and experience are an important part of her practice, Dr. Koh says getting to know her patients on a personal level is just as important.
Outside of the office, Dr. Koh is a mom of two who enjoys making jewelry, visiting farmers markets and simply getting to know people. She hopes to bring that same personal approach to the way she cares for patients in Kennesaw.
