Milestone Opening Celebrates Rapid Growth and National Expansion

Marietta, it’s time to slide thru as Smalls Sliders officially opens its 50th Can on April 14 at 10 a.m. local standard time. Located at 2355 Windy Hill Rd., the milestone opening marks a defining moment for the fast-growing slider brand as it continues expanding its footprint across the country.
To celebrate, the first 100 guests to visit the Marietta Can will receive exclusive Smalls Sliders swag. The grand opening will also include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and check presentation honoring Porch Marietta as the location’s Smalls Town Hero. Porch Marietta is a volunteer-led nonprofit that mobilizes neighbors to fight food insecurity through monthly food drives supporting local pantries, schools, and community programs.
The Marietta location is Smalls’ 50th Can systemwide, a milestone that reflects the brand’s disciplined expansion model and growing demand from experienced franchise operators nationwide. Last year alone, Smalls Sliders opened 24 new Cans, representing more than 114% year-over-year system growth, while expanding into four new markets. The brand also signed 18 new development agreements last year, adding 85 Cans to its pipeline and further reinforcing strong interest from experienced multi-brand operators.
“Reaching 50 locations is an incredible moment for the Smalls Sliders brand,” said Richard Leveille, vice president of franchise development for Smalls Sliders. “What started as a simple idea centered around great sliders and an unforgettable guest experience has grown into a brand embraced by passionate operators and communities around the country.”
The Marietta Can will be owned and operated by local entrepreneur Rocky Moore, who looks forward to introducing the local community to Smalls’ fresh, cooked-to-order cheeseburger sliders, seasoned waffle fries, and hand-spun shakes.
“We’ve already felt incredible support from the Marietta community since the Can Drop in January, and we’re thrilled to officially open our doors,” said Rocky Moore, owner of Smalls Sliders Marietta. “Celebrating the brand’s 50th Can makes the moment even more special, and we can’t wait to introduce our neighbors to the bold flavors and community spirit that makes Smalls so unique.”
Since opening its first Can in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2019, Smalls Sliders has experienced rapid growth, expanding from a single neighborhood concept into a nationally recognized franchise brand. With 50 Cans now open and hundreds more in development across the country, the brand continues to attract experienced operators and build momentum in markets nationwide as more communities discover its fresh cheeseburger sliders and top-notch guest experience.
Smalls Sliders has taken the nation by storm, and Marietta is next to join the Smaucy® revolution ignited by the brand’s fan-favorite menu.
