Join the Cobb Chamber for a meet and great with Councilwoman Latonia P. Hines at Smyrna Area Council on March 1.
As the newest elected member of the City Council, Hines has been hard at work for her constituents in Smyrna. Her priorities include quality affordable housing, redevelopments that help the community, and working with local public safety to keep Smyrna residents safe. In one of her first public appearances since taking office, she will share what led her to run, goals for her time in office, and updates from Ward 2.
Hines has been a servant leader in Cobb County government for over 19 years. She has served as a prosecutor in the Cobb County Solicitor’s Office and Cobb District Attorney’s Office, having received both her bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Florida. Latonia appears as a regular legal analyst and expert for local and national television networks like Law & Crime, CourtTV, and NBC-11Alive.
Doors open at 7:30 a.m. at Brawner Hall. Registration is open at https://bit.ly/3YJvFY9. Tickets are $25 for Cobb Chamber members and $35 for general admission. Online registration and refunds will close Monday, February 27 at noon. Walk-up admissions and payment cannot be granted.
