Join the Cobb Chamber for the first South Area Council of the year on February 16 where Commissioner Monique Sheffield will provide an update on District 4 and her plans to move “onward and D4-ward!”
Being a resident of District 4 for over 20 years, Commissioner Monique Sheffield took office on January 4, 2021, and made history by being a part of the first all-female Board of Commissioners for Cobb County. She quickly got to work determining what she wanted her next 4 years in office to look like while serving her constituents and the county as a whole. Commissioner Sheffield currently serves as Vice-Chair to the Board of Commissioners and she serves on the National Association of Counties’ Community, Economic & Workforce Development Committee.
Additionally, the Citizen of the Year Award for Powder Springs will be presented at this event.
Registration is open until February 14 at www.cobbchamber.org. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. at the Riverside Epicenter. Tickets are $25 for Cobb Chamber members and $35 for general admission. Walk-up admissions and payment cannot be granted.
This event is sponsored by Series Presenting Sponsor, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and Program Sponsor, Development Authority of Cobb County.
