Fans of authentic Mexican food favorites and a vibrant atmosphere will be glad to hear that On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina® is planning big moves this summer as four of six Atlanta locations will be receiving a facelift and hosting individual grand re-opening celebrations upon its re-opening day. Guests who delight in the brand’s world-famous margaritas, crowd-pleasing creamy queso, tableside Guacamole Live!®, and most importantly, delicious mesquite-grilled sizzling fajitas, have a new décor to enjoy during their visits.
“Our guests will love our updated look,” said Ashley Zickefoose, Chief Marketing Officer for On The Border. “The whole atmosphere is perfect for coming together with friends, sharing great conversation and company, and digging into satisfying Mexican-food favorites.”
The remodeled look will incorporate festive wall murals for a bright new look. Beer-bottle and tequila-bottle chandeliers combine with tall ceilings and a welcoming, open flow which includes views into a state-of-the-art kitchen. Seating is large and comfortable, even for parties with many guests. In addition, the patio area is the perfect place to kick off the patio season with tasty appetizers and entrées while enjoying the company of your amigos – it’s always a fiesta on the patio!
On The Border’s President, Ward Whitworth, shared Zickefoose’s excitement for the recent updates to come within the next few months. “We’ve enjoyed being a part of the Atlanta community for over 18 years,” he said. “And we’re even more pleased to be starting a new chapter in an ongoing story of food, fun, and friendship with authentic Mexican-food and margaritas as the centerpiece.”
The On The Border locations will tentatively close its doors to commence the updates this 2017 summer, which will take roughly five days to complete. Reconstruction of each location are subject to take place from late May to early September. Upon re-opening its doors, normal operating hours of 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday will resume from that day forward.
