Kennesaw shopping center sends off summer with deals and entertainment; annual event also celebrates the power of art with ARTportunity Knocks
Town Center at Cobb is in a class of its own! Local students and families are invited to celebrate the return to the classroom with the Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, July 30 from noon – 3 p.m. Back to school festivities include goody bags, giveaways, a DJ, a selfie wall and will feature visits from fan-favorite superheroes, balloon artists and more! The event will also feature local nonprofit, ARTportunity Knocks, including bookbag distribution with school and art supplies, while supplies last!
As part of the monthly series, July’s Peace of Art program will continue to showcase creativity to improve and enrich the lives of youth with special performances by the Samba International Drummers, Rockwell Dance Team, Cobb Autistic Dancers and more. Guests can also expect appearances and collaborations from local mental health partners and law enforcement. Visitors can enjoy art therapy, painting, games and more.
