Cosmetic updates, improved viewing areas and more in store for city’s premier sports and entertainment destination
Atlantans will soon enjoy a reimagined dining, entertainment and social experience as The Battery Atlanta receives a series of property enhancements that will modernize the mixed-use destination’s offerings, while incorporating thoughtful amenities to create a functional, thriving community hub in anticipation of the 2025 MLB All-Star Game in July 2025. Once complete, the transformed property will offer updated LED screens for enhanced fan viewing, new seating arrangements, expanded public restrooms, interactive digital directories, redesigned landscaping, updated walkways and other cosmetic enhancements to elevate every aspect of Atlanta’s premier sports and entertainment destination.
“These enhancements reflect our unwavering commitment to ensuring that The Battery Atlanta remains one of the most dynamic, fan and community-centric destinations in the country,” said Jeremy Strife, Executive Vice President of Development of the Atlanta Braves. “Our team continues to prioritize the needs and enjoyment of Braves Country, as well as our local neighbors, and we are excited to roll out these improvements that will enhance the overall experience for everyone who visits the property”
A highly anticipated aspect of the upcoming project includes a comprehensive overhaul of the property’s walkways and seating, in addition to a vibrant redesign of the corner of Heritage Court and Battery Avenue to give fans of all ages a welcoming place to gather in community, while enhancing The Battery Atlanta’s lively atmosphere. The addition of drink rails and landscaping rails will complement the property, while expanded public restrooms near the Coca-Cola Roxy will ensure greater convenience and comfort for the growing number of visitors throughout the year.
Further enhancing the guest experience is the introduction of strategically situated LED screens above Shake Shack (set to open this summer) and Good Game will provide new viewing areas to ensure fans never miss a moment of the action. New 75-inch interactive digital directories will also be installed throughout The Battery Atlanta’s sprawling 2.25 million square feet to ensure patrons can easily navigate the property and get assistance quickly. Additionally, new Binbox Lockers will be offered for a safer, more convenient option for visitors to securely store bags and other personal items that aren’t permitted inside Truist Park.
While The Battery Atlanta will remain open throughout these updates, guests can anticipate temporary walkway closures and minor disruptions. Detailed signage will be visible throughout the property to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
