| WHAT: | As part of VyStar Credit Union’s annual Good is everywhere celebration, VyStar will host a student engagement event at Kennesaw State University (KSU) to spotlight its commitment to addressing food insecurity among college students and promoting volunteerism and community support. Students will receive fresh food along with a note of encouragement for the school year, and the event will include a check presentation to the Kennesaw State University Foundation, reinforcing VyStar’s dedication to supporting student success and campus engagement. Good is everywhere is VyStar’s annual celebration of community impact, running from September 10–30. The celebration includes over 30 free experiences for members, volunteer opportunities, and spotlights nonprofit partners across VyStar’s footprint. The event will feature: A check presentation to the Kennesaw State University Foundation Volunteer opportunities for VyStar employees and KSU students Fresh produce distribution Opportunities to learn more about KSU’s CARES services for students experiencing poverty, homelessness, or foster care transitions Location Details: The event will be held outside as a popup bodega, weather permitting. In case of rain, it will move inside to the KSU CARES Food Pantry located in the Joe Mack Wilson Student Center on the Marietta Campus. |
