VyStar Foundation is now accepting applications from non-profit organizations that support active military, veterans, and their families. Specific funding priority will be given to programs that address food and housing insecurity, provide employment and small business counseling, and mental health services. “VyStar Foundation is committed to supporting organizations that put our military and veterans at the forefront and truly make a difference in their lives.,” said VyStar Foundation President, Patricia McElroy.
The Foundation will consider military grant requests up to $20,000 from 501(c)(3) organizations and will fund up to a total of $200,000. The Board of Directors may vary funding amounts and the number of awards depending on the quality and number of applications received.
VyStar Foundation grant application information sessions will be held virtually in March and April:
- Thursday, March 21 – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 27 – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 2 – 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
