The WellStar Acworth Health Park has opened their second and third floors to provide physician office space to 12 medical specialists with a strong foundation of primary care physicians. The newly opened office space will be home to many different doctors and specialists including internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, cardiology, pulmonary, E.N.T, hand surgery, orthopedics, gastroenterology and neurosurgery.
The WellStar Acworth Health Park, located at 4550 Cobb Parkway NW, is a 70,000 square foot facility that offers urgent care, physician practices and comprehensive medical diagnostics. Joe Brywczynski, senior vice president of Health Parks Administration said “the provision of community-based outpatient care is a major strategic driver at WellStar, which is why these facilities are different. We are not only investing in the rapidly growing outpatient market, but we are making these investments closer to home, in the communities we serve.”
WellStar is celebrating their expansion by hosting Family Fun Day on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 2 to 5 p.m. Activities will include a tour of the new facility, climbing rock wall, inflatable obstacle course, police, fire and EMS vehicles on site, free blood pressure checks and youth sports safety tips. You can also register to win exciting prizes including a home gym, set of mountain bikes and a trip for four to Disney World.
