WellStar Foundation 24th Annual Golf Classic Raises $190,000 to Enhance Healthcare in the Community

The WellStar Foundation hosted its 24th Annual Golf Classic at the Marietta Country Club on August 28. The event raised nearly $190,000 to advance emergency and trauma services across WellStar Health System, the largest health system in Georgia.

“What makes the WellStar Foundation so unique is every dollar raised supports the mission,” said Carole Kell, WellStar Foundation Board of Trustees Chair. “This year, 100 percent of donations received through the Golf Classic went toward improving access to quality emergency and trauma care. I am grateful to all the corporate sponsors who contributed to such a vital, community resource.”
