LGE Community Credit Union recently welcomed Ryan Napier as its new vice president of human resources.
Napier has over 10 years of experience in human resources and specializes in innovative talent recruitment, employee relations, human resource information systems, and organizational development. Most recently, he led the human resources and recruitment efforts at Lake Trust Credit Union: a Michigan-based $2 billion financial institution with approximately 450 employees.
LGE chief administration officer Carol Wagner said, “To keep up with the rapid growth LGE has experienced over the past several years, we’ve recently been strategically implementing changes and improvements to our infrastructure and processes. One of those changes was adding a vice president of human resources position to support our almost 300 employee workforce that spans across 13 locations in metro Atlanta. We hired Ryan because he is a clear innovator and has an impressive track record in the specific areas we are looking to grow: talent acquisition, talent retention, and data analytics.”
Napier is a graduate of Central Michigan University and holds both the SHRM-CP and sHRBP certifications: two industry-standard displays of expertise in the human resources field.
Napier said, “My experience and expertise in human resources data and technology combined with my specific interest in overall employee well-being aligns perfectly with LGE’s overall strategic initiatives. As LGE goes through this period of expansion and innovation, the way we recruit, develop, and support our growing workforce as an employer must innovate as well. My goal is to implement changes and improvements that lead to increased wellness among our team members, which will naturally lead to our team being even more equipped to serve our growing number of members.”
