Sheriff Craig Owens is revamping an annual Cobb County Sheriff’s Office event and is now
dubbing it the annual Cobb Sheriff’s Low Country Shrimp Boilin’. This community event will be a
day of food, fun, and family-friendly entertainment.
Food offerings include plenty of corn and favorites such as a low country seafood boil, BBQ,
hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, ice cream, fresh fruit, and more. Tickets are $30 per person
and can be purchased online at https://fb.me/e/1ABXh4lMp.
“I am excited to bring a fresh take on this Cobb County tradition,” said Sheriff Owens. “The Cobb
Sheriff’s Low Country Shrimp Boilin’ will be an opportunity to connect as a community in a
bipartisan fashion.”
Sheriff Owens invites Republican, Democratic, and nonpartisan candidates on the November
ballot to volunteer for the event by emailing staff@craigforcobbsheriff.com. Members of the
public may also sign up for volunteer slots online at https://bit.ly/ShrimpBoilinVolunteers2022.
