Area Seniors Move Quickly to Secure Priority Reservations at
Inaugural Event; More Events to Follow
Presbyterian Village Cobb saw an immediate surge of interest at its sold-out Inaugural Oasis Priority Event, held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on November 13, 2025. Nearly 100 attendees gathered to learn more about the organization’s newest project—part of a recently announced $100M expansion initiative. By the close of the event, several attendees placed fully refundable $500 Priority Deposits, securing early access to member benefits and selection for the community’s 45 planned cottage-style homes.
These maintenance-free residences offer the privacy of a home combined with access to a full continuum of care on campus. These homes represent a scarce option for senior housing in the Atlanta and Cobb County area, with limited availability contributing to the strong early response.
“We recognized the strong desire for maintenance-free homes within a Life Plan community based on our survey research across the Atlanta region,” said Alex Patterson, CEO of Presbyterian Homes of Georgia. “Opportunities to secure independent cottage living with access to a full continuum of care simply do not come along often, especially in this market.”
Priority deposits establish the order in which participants will preview and select homes once architectural plans are released in 2026. Guests at the inaugural event were the first to view conceptual renderings of the cottages and expanded community amenities.
The strong turnout and rapid enrollment signal increased demand for mission-driven senior living options that blend independent lifestyles with the security and peace of mind of quality care onsite when it’s needed. Additional Oasis Priority Program events will be held in the coming months, with the next events being scheduled in December for Marietta at Indian Hills Country Club on Dec. 4 and 16. Reservations are required.
