In partnership with Mississippi State University’s System Change Lab, Kathy Jacobs Design & Marketing transformed a dense curriculum into a clear, user-friendly resource designed for real-world application. The result is an interactive digital publication that helps teachers, families, and caregivers easily incorporate foundational math concepts into everyday learning experiences.
This free guide supports math development from birth through age eight, offering practical strategies, engaging activities, and accessible tools rooted in daily routines and meaningful interactions. It emphasizes “math talk” and real-life applications to make early math learning both effective and approachable.
Spanning more than 180 pages, the Early Childhood Math Guide publication features interactive elements, including pop-up definitions, external resources, and an intuitive navigation system that simplifies complex content for educators.
This project was recognized as a winner in the 2026 GDUSA Digital Design Awards (American Digital Design Awards), selected from nearly 3,000 entries nationwide.
