Cobb Chamber ribbon cutting set for Friday, August 7 as the companies grow on the same Marietta property they have called home for nearly 20 years

A 2nd Chance Bail Bonds and A 2nd Chance Monitoring have opened a larger Cobb County office at 1397 Powder Springs Street SW in Marietta, expanding on the same property where the company first opened its doors. The Cobb Chamber will host an official ribbon-cutting at the new location on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., followed by a grand opening reception at 5:00 p.m.
A 2nd Chance has served Cobb County from Powder Springs Street, just down the road from the Cobb County jail, for nearly 20 years. The new building sits on the same property as the company’s original office and replaces the interim location at 1052 Powder Springs Road, which housed the Cobb team temporarily and is closing as part of the transition.
The larger space brings the same team and the same around-the-clock availability into an office built for client meetings, monitoring check-ins, and equipment appointments. Effective August 7, 2026, all Cobb County business will be handled at 1397 Powder Springs Street SW, and attorneys, agencies, and families who work with the Cobb office are asked to update their records to reflect the new address.
“Cobb County is home for me, personally and professionally. This is where we opened our doors, and growing right here on the same property was the only option we ever considered,” said Daniel Matalon, CEO of A 2nd Chance. “This office is our headquarters and our heart. It is a commitment to the families, attorneys, and courts of Cobb County, and everyone we serve across metro Atlanta, that we will be here for the next 20 years and beyond.”
Cobb County has been part of the company’s footprint since the beginning, and the new office serves as headquarters for the company’s operations across metro Atlanta and beyond. The larger space continues that presence alongside the attorneys, judges, and agencies A 2nd Chance works with daily. The company recently sponsored the Cobb County Bar Association’s General Monthly Luncheon and has supported back-to-school giveaways with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office.
“The new space lets us do everything we already do, better. Families have a comfortable place to sit down with an agent, monitoring clients can get in and out quickly for check-ins and equipment appointments, and our team has room to grow with the demand we see in Cobb County,” said Jesse Fellabaum, Director of Operations.
A 2nd Chance Bail Bonds provides 24/7 bail bond services from nine offices across Georgia and Alabama, serving clients nationwide. A 2nd Chance Monitoring provides GPS tracking, house arrest, and alcohol testing services along with compliance support, reporting, and real-time updates for courts and counsel. Both companies operate under Matalon Management Group, LLC, and are members of the Cobb Chamber.
The new Cobb County office is located at 1397 Powder Springs Street SW, Marietta, GA 30064. For more information, visit a2ndchancebailbonds.com or a2ndchancemonitoring.com.
