Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2023 honor by Atlanta Journal-Constitution Top Workplaces. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
It is an honor to receive this employer recognition award for yet another year,” shares Jeff Fucito, Partner in Charge of the Firm’s Atlanta office. “We are always evaluating how we can provide an increasingly better work environment for our staff to grow both professionally and personally. We want to be an employer of choice, and the recognition from this award affirms we are making that happen.”
Here are a few things our employees like about working at M&J:
I can focus on what I enjoy doing best and the firm has plenty of support to help me take care of my clients.
So many firms tout their culture, but many fail to follow through on their principles. M&J not only follows through but goes above and beyond. I also love that the work challenges me in order to grow my knowledge, and I never feel like I can’t ask for help.
I get to face multiple facets of the industry, many of my responsibilities being accounting driven, while others more financial. It gives me the best overall chance to truly understand finance as a whole and grow as both a person and an employee.
Everyone at M&J has been so friendly and warm to me since I started. Also, other coworkers who I do not directly work with have gone out of their way to help me get what I needed to complete my job.
I have flexibility in my schedule, which helps me have a good work-life balance. Directors and Partners are always available for questions or concerns. They also are always checking in to see how I’m doing and make sure I am happy with how my job is going.
It has allowed me the opportunity to work in the accounting profession where many other firms turned me away due to lack of experience/internships. I believe that the core values are not just reflected by our firm itself, but in all the people individually who work here. Everyone appreciates your growth at all paces and are very understanding of that.
I have the autonomy to work on the projects I want from day to day and manage clients to their needs. Work-life balance is a result of that and a huge benefit.
Since my first day, everyone has made an effort to get to know me as a person instead of just as an employee. I also did not expect to get so much valuable, hands-on experience in my field of study as an intern.
