Learn about changes to the tax law and the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program
Business owners and their personal CPA or Financial Planner are invited to an informational breakfast session, hosted by Mount Paran Christian School, on Tuesday, December 7, to learn about changes to the Georgia tax law.
There are significant changes resulting from the 2021 legislative action which will dramatically increase the ability of pass-through businesses to impact the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, while receiving significant double-tax benefits for themselves. Georgia taxpayers receive 100-percent state income tax credits for contributions which provide scholarships to K-12 students, enabling them to attend schools like MPCS.
Lisa Kelly, President of Georgia GOAL, will explain the exciting opportunities in the tax credit law. Lisa will provide an update on the status of the law and the program. This informative presentation will qualify for one hour of Continuing Professional Education for CPAs! Attendees can also learn more about how to redirect to schools such as MPCS a portion of state tax dollars you already pay.
