The College of Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) at Kennesaw State University is hosting an Open House Thursday, Aug. 2 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at KSU Center. Prospective students can learn about the professional development certificate programs offered at the college. Courses range from healthcare, management and technology to hospitality, finance, human resources and more. Event attendees will receive an exclusive discount for any personal class, certificate program registration, textbooks, KSU apparel and gifts.
CCPE representatives, instructors and graduates will be on-site to answer questions, discuss learning opportunities and career options. Financial aid advisors will be available to discuss payment plans, VA Education Benefits, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding and more for select programs. KSU’s Career Services and Georgia Department of Labor will also be available to discuss best practices to gain employment.
“Attending the open house is an opportunity for prospective students to learn more about their area of interest,” said Tim Blumentritt, interim dean. “For many of our graduates, this event was the starting point toward enhancing their career.”
