The LGE Community Outreach Foundation will host its annual Decade Dash 5k Saturday, March 23, at 8 a.m. in Kennesaw. Funds raised will benefit local charities including:
- CASA of Paulding County
- Calvary Children’s Home
- Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
- McKenna Farms
- MUST Ministries
- Next Step Ministries
- SafePath
- United Military Care
- Warehouse of Hope
The Decade Dash 5k is an AJC Peachtree Qualifier, with its fast and relatively flat route beginning at Barrett Summit. Participants are encouraged to dress in their best 60s to 90s decades attire, and both strollers and dogs are welcome. A 1K fun run/tot-trot is also available for the youngest of runners.
