Join us for the last Marquee Monday of 2020 as Monica Kaufman Pearson kicks off the season of thankfulness and gratitude as our keynote speaker. Monica will be discussing how to lead through a crisis and the importance of being grateful during all seasons of life. Monica Kaufman Pearson is the first woman and first minority to anchor the daily evening news in Atlanta, where she worked for 37 years at the leading station, WSB-TV. She has won over 33 Southern Regional and local Emmy Awards for reporting, anchoring and her “Closeups” celebrity interview show. She will speak on lessons in leadership.
Attendees will also hear how the Cobb Community Foundation helps magnify your impact as well as the difference we have made together as a community. The 2020 Philanthropist of the Year will also be announced.
Register by December 9th to confirm that you are attending Marquee Monday in person.
Walk-up admissions and at-door payment cannot be granted. Attendees will be asked to wear masks during event check-in and while moving through the event space. Temperature checks and a security screening will be conducted before entering the building. To attend virtually, register for the event by December 11th, selecting the virtual attendance option.
To help provide a safe and smooth entry to our December Marquee Monday event, we are partnering with SymTem, an all-in-one COVID-19 screening tool created by InfoMart. In advance of the event, in-person attendees will receive an email prompting them to take a virtual health screening through the SymTem app. Once your screening is complete and you are deemed symptom free and safe to attend this event, you will receive a digital badge to show Chamber staff upon arrival. It is our hope that this process ensures a safe and comfortable experience at this event, from entry to exit.
NOTE: No personal or health information will be collected or shared when using SymTem.
