Overview
Old Mountain Contracting Company (OMCC) provides medium civil construction and heavy landscaping construction services in the government, commercial and residential markets. They span the range of services from parking lots to plantings, curb and gutter to high end decorative concrete and finished masonry. They build everything from parks to driveways and even the perfect outdoor fireplace for your personal backyard.
A short drive around Cobb is evidence enough of the construction surge in our area- it’s everywhere we turn- and Old Mountain is right in the middle of it. OMCC is setting the standard for high-quality projects right in our own backyard, realizing the key role they play in improving our community.
“Old Mountain cares about the work they perform,” says Parks Manager for the City of Marietta Rich Deckman. “Clint and his team have invested their time and heart into improving our parks with the idea of each child and family having a better place to enjoy life in our city.”
Good Old Fashioned Hard Work
Problems happen on job sites, that’s the nature of construction. One instance when Old Mountain was renovating a municipal park when they discovered a grading problem that would prevent drainage from the center of the park. For four hours, the entire team of Old Mountain, including Owner Clint Austin, were forced to use shovels to close a trench in time for weekend play for the kids. It’s this persistence, willpower and leadership that led to an impressive 300+ percent growth in 2015.
