Join us for our annual Public Safety Appreciation Breakfast, where we will have the opportunity to honor and celebrate our local heroes. This serves as our October First Monday Breakfast, and we will be recognizing some deserving individuals with awards for their acts of service in our community.
The Public Safety Appreciation Breakfast kicks off the county-wide Public Safety Appreciation Week, where we come together as a community to show our support and appreciation for all that our Public Safety does to make Cobb a safe, enjoyable place to live, work and play. A highlight of the breakfast is the presentation of the Public Safety Employee of the Year award and additional awards of Merit, Valor or Distinguished Achievement.
We will also have the distinct honor of hearing from Cobb County’s new District Attorney, Joyette Holmes.

Public Safety Appreciation Week
Help us show our appreciation to our nominees and all other public safety heroes during Public Safety Appreciation Week. Appreciation Week gives the community the opportunity to band together and show appreciation, not only to the nominees, but to all the hard-working public safety personnel from National Park Services to the Georgia National Guard. Business groups, community groups, students and more get together to make and deliver gift baskets, write thank you letters to personnel, catered food or snacks and put messages on their social media or marquees to celebrate and thank public safety agencies throughout Cobb and in Georgia.Paragraph
