Four years ago, Michael Feldberg had an idea of an innovative graphic design company that would be able to do anything from small print to large scale prints. His idea became known as The Color Spot. In 2011 alone, The Color Spot saw over 40 percent in sales growth and over 55 percent the year before. The Color Spot is serves Cobb community through its product offerings and through its charitable efforts. Some of the recipients of The Color Spot’s contributions over the past year include: Cobb Youth Leadership, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, MUST Ministries, and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Feldberg and his business also actively support Kennesaw State University through an endowment for the College of Arts. The agreement includes a $20,000 scholarship endowment, as well as internship opportunities for students in the department of Visual Arts. This endowment has allowed students to gain experience in the graphic arts and off-set the high price of a college education. Ultimately, The Color Spot is playing a pivotal role in helping aspiring artists reach their goals in the graphic arts industry.
